Paper photograph of a model on a white backdrop in Oscar de la RENTA’s embroidered evening dress. The teal blue silk gazar ball gown has puff sleeves that fold over the sinch at the elbows. The skirt is gathered around the high hip creating a bell silhouette. The long fitted bodice is ablaze with gold embroidery. The woman is adorned with layers of beaded collar necklaces and a beaded opera necklace with matching beaded dangle earrings.From the Eleanor LAMBERT Archive, FIT Special Collections, a huge advocate for supporting American designers during the war and the first and only publicist for artists and fashion designers for decades.
