Description
A golden kokoshnik hat embroidered with metal thread and silk, and glass beads forming lines. The inside is made of canvas with tartan patterns. Traditional russian hat destinated to women worn by the wealthy peasant class.
This type of kokoshnik was called "morshen" (borushka, ochapok, sbornik, sling) with a protrusion on the crown of the head, assembled in folds in front, and was typical for Arkhangelsk, Vologda provinces, and north of the Vyatka province.
