Haute couture evening dress in silver shining brocade with golden flower motifs.
In 1947, Christian DIOR imagines the silhouette of "a woman-flower with soft shoulders, flourished busts, waist lines thin like lianas and skirts wide like corollas", this "New Look" will mark the decade of the 50s. With the return of lavish balls, DIOR participates in their splendoor by designing the majestic ball gowns and renewing with the glamour of the past.
