Description
Golden brocade dress doubled with pink silk inside and decorated with lace on the bottom.

After the period known as "great mourning" the woman goes back to her emancipation. Wishing to forget the atrocities of the war, the garment becomes more joyous but also simpler in its design. It loses refinement compared to that of the Belle Epoque but gains freedom of movement. What was embroidered becomes woven or printed.
