Traditional Russian Sbornik hat, lined with handprinted cotton, embellished with silk and mettalic thread embroideries and black and green glass beads, transparent and white small beads, and larger mother of pearl, amber and green pearls."Sbornik" was a whole group of folk kokoshnik style headdresses. The word means the way of making the hat – assembling the material into folds on the top like a comb. This comb look creates a unique style and had a magic meaning to protect the person and to produce the next generation.
