Paper photograph on a cardboard base, representing a full-length portrait of a young woman standing on a background of a wall with a climbing tree, surrounded with typical Art Nouveau period decorative items and furniture: Japanese screen with flower and bird motifs, a piece of patterned fabric put on the screen, an Oriental carpet, on which the lady is standing, and a black wooden chair inlaid with mother of pearl with a velvet cussion, on which the lady is leaning. The woman herself is wearing a summer dress with elbow length sleeves, the bodice and the skirt embellished with lace inserts, a brooch in the shape of an insect, probably a dragonfly, in the center of the neckline, and her hair is attached in a bun on the top, brushed on the sides.Materials
