Paper photograph depicting a young woman, a famous French actress, dancer and singer, Arlette DORGÈRE (born Anna Mathilde Irma JOUVE, 8 June 1880 – 1965). She is dressed in an outside everyday gown, consisting of a jacket and a skirt. The large lapels of the jacket are made of fur, and the tight cuffs fasten with a row of four large round buttons. A high lace collar blouse is visible under the jacket with a short pearl necklace. The lady is wearing a small cone shape hat entirely made of small silk flowers with straight feathered decoration on the top.Materials
