Description
Paper photograph of a Parisian model of Maison Dalmayer, destined for a German and British magazines, with a printed on tracing paper explanatory text in German, French and English. The photograph shows a young woman dressed in a summer evening dress in a black dotted net, with vertical lines of black velvet dots of varying size, between which run rows of tiny sequins, the whole over a pale yellow taffeta lining. The wide flounce of the skirt is trimmed with four rows of tiny black tulle ruching. The bolero jacket of the bodice opens out over a loose blouse of white tulle, embroidered in gold, held together by a belt of gold filigree. The dress comes with a double pelerine wrap of three quarter length, in black cloth, lined with yellow silk satin, and trimmed about the shoulders with a row of passementerie medallions edged with black. A long black chenille fringe, and cords in black and gold complete the trimming. The lady is wearing a simple black hat trimmed with ostrich feathers, a pearl parure with a necklace, earrings, and rings.
