Paper photograph, representing a portrait of a young woman, an American musical comedy actress and playwright, Clara LIPMAN (1864 – 1952). She is wearing a simple light colour silk dress with some structural folds and large pleats, short sleeves, embellished with large rectangular patches with beaded and metallic thread embroideries on dark colour background. Same stylized buckle decorates the skirt on the hip level. The lady is wearing a long beaded tassel brooch on the right of the chest, and a matching bracelet, and a short negligee pearl necklace.Material
