Description
Paper photograph portrait of a wealthy woman, represented in a multi layered outside gown, consisting of a short bolero and a long corset-tight on the waist skirt in thick fabric, with two interlacing waves on the bottom, made of embroidered silk ribbons. A high floral lace collar and two tongue tie are visible under the jacket, pinned with a tea-rose and a metal flower shaped brooch. An openwork metal chatelaine, with four chains, one of each is occupied with a small metal chainmail coin bag with a lace handkerchief inside, is attached on the right side of the belt. A full mink skin is lying on the lady's shoulders, and she is holding another skin fur in her hand, which is leaning on the bench. A chain bracelet adorns her right wrist, and a flat cuff bangle with a tassel is on her left hand. The look is completed with a flat hat, embellished with ostrich feathers, probably jet pins and brooches.
