Description
Paper photograph of a Parisian model of Maison Delisle, destined for a German magazine. The photograph shows a young woman dressed in an evening dress in silk muslin, covered with tulle, richly embroidered with sequins and glass beads, forming a large net pattern on the skirt, made of floral garlands. The bottom lining of the skirt has a large pleated border. The bodice is also adorned with embroideries, along with long and tight sleeves, and the waistline is accentuated with a very large corset type belt with dots made of pearls or beads, fastening on the left side. The lady is holding a large tulle veil behind her, and is wearing a feather hat. A multistrand pearl choker with openwork metal buckles embellishes her neck, with a two strand long pearl necklace going down the decollete till the skirt line.
