Description
Paper photograph of a Parisian model of Maison Wallès, destined for a German magazine. The photograph shows a young woman dressed in a stage or evening dress in silk muslin, with heart shaped sleeveless bodice and long skirt with a small train on the back, covered with fine lace appliques, and glass bead embroideries forming flowers and leaves. The bottom of the skirt has a chiffon ruffle trim, and the bodice is accentuated on the waistline with a belt. A large floral brooch decorates the right side of the chest, the lady is holding up an open white ostrich feather fan with tortoiseshell sticks, and some feathers decorate her updo hairstyle.
