Description
Paper photograph of a Parisian model of Maison Moret, destined for a German magazine, with a printed on tracing paper explanatory text in German. The photograph shows a young woman dressed in an Irish lace dress, accentuated on the waistline with a pleated velvet belt. The long skirt is separated on three levels, connected from ruffle to ruffle by a grid of ribbons. The lining is made of matte pink satin and the same-colored velvet ribbons unite the patterned lace. The sleeves of the bodice are wide, and the outermost points just reach the latticework that covers part of the forearm. The large tuff made of white silk chiffon sways like a giant butterfly on the left side of the waist. Two diamond pins embellish the updo wavy hairstyle, a matching choker type necklace sits on the neck, and a diamond and pearl ring adorns the finger of the hand, holding an open fan.
