Description
Cabinet format photograph depicting a young woman standing in a photographer's studio, on a background of a stone balustrade, in a long dress, trimmed with fur on the neckline, the threee quarter sleeves, and the front, multiple ruffled underskirt, lace cuffs and lace collar. She is wearing a black choker necklace with a pearl and diamond pendant on it, a pair of small earrings, multiple rings and a bracelet, and her hair is in a fashionable updo braided style.
The noble woman is known as Maria Léopoldine von SALM REIFFERSCHEIDT RAITZ (1859 - 1897), Countess of Salm, married in 1878 to Karl LANCKORONSKI, Count Brzezie-Lanckoronski, and in 1882 to Markus von BOMBELLES, Count von Bombelles.
