Cabinet format photograph depicting a young woman in a photographer's studio leaning on a tufted chair. She is represented in a light colour dress with pleated underskirt, embellished with lace and ribbons going vertically in the center from the collar to the bottom. The gown is accentuated on the waistline with a dark belt with a large openwork rectangular belt buckle, and a pocket watch chain is attached on the side. She is wearing a pair of fingerless gloves, a different bracelet on each wrist, a feather hat, and is holding a folded fan.Materials
