Cabinet format photograph depicting two young women, probably sisters, represented in a photographer's studio. The lady on the left is wearing a bustle skirt dress with buttoned bodice, embellished with frog fastener imitating appliques on the front and the cuffs. Her collar is pinned with a long brooch, and she is wearing a hat embellished with feathers. The lady on the right is wearing a similar, more simple type dress, also buttoned on the front, with a shiny brooch on the collar, and a small hat with some decorations on it.Materials
