Description
Rectangular cardboard box with rounded edges for "Russian Wafers", embellished with chromolithography representing on the top a Russian peasant scene of a young man in red shirt dancing cossack or hopak dance, with on the back one boy playing balalaika and another playing triangle. On the right, a young lady, wearing a red and blue sarafan over a white shirt, and a golden kokoshnik and apron, is sitting on a piece of wood with a young child standing near her. The sides have a repetitive pattern mixing Neo-Renaissance and Russian folk ornaments in red, blue and yellow colours on silver background.
