Description
Cigarette souvenir box in light olive wood and steel frame. One side is decorated with an Art Nouveau hand painted decoration of purple iris with green leaves plants and yellow flowers. The other side has the inscription "Nice". The interior is lined with bright blue silk satin and has two flat compartments.

Nice is from the end of the nineteenth century the beating heart of tourism in the French Riviera. Many Russians flocked there and the city was equipped with numerous villas and hotel and tourist infrastructures.
