Watercolour painting portrait of a young woman represented in profile in a green dress with white ruffled collar, long sleeves with three rows of pleated fabric on the shoulders, and a puffy gigot sleeve down the arm, ending with white lace cuffs. The lady's hair is in updo bun style with a large curl from each side framing the face, and she is holding a pink rose in her left hand.The colour of the dress is also known as "the green of Daours", as in the 19th century textile activities were established, thanks to the investments of industrialists from Amiens, in Daours, France.
