Studio Lipnitzki (French, 1920 - 1960s)

The Studio Lipnitzki was a French photography studio founded in Paris by Boris LIPNITZKI (Ukrainian/French, Kiev 1887- Paris 1971). The studio opened between the 1920s and 1960s. It is known in particular for its black and-white photographs of movie stars, artists and celebrities like Maurice RAVEL, René AUBER, Paul POIRET, Louis JOUVET, Lys GAUTY, Brigitte BARDOT, Serge GAINSBOURG and Pablo PICASSO.
