First collection by Thierry Mugler, «Café de Paris», was presented in 1973, one year prior to the establishment of his own fashion house. Thierry Mugler was in charge of artistic direction of his clothing line until 2002. Afterwards he left to pay most of his time on photography, theatre and other artistic hobbies. For example, he collaborated with Cirque du Soleil. Currently the Artistic Director of the House is David Koma (since 2013).
