Molyneux House dressed the European royal houses, the British high society, actresses Greta Garbo, Gertrude Lawrence, Margaret Leighton, Marlene Dietrich and Vivien Leigh. Molyneux also created stage costumes, notably for the French singer Mistinguett during her shows at the Folies Bergère. During the Second World War, he moved his company to London. Molyneux returns to Paris in 1946. In 1964 Edward Molyneux opened his new Studio Molyneux, a ready-to-wear house, which received mixed reviews. He retired in 1969. The Studio Molyneux continues its activities under the direction of his cousin John Tullis, until its closure in 1977. The brand "Molyneux Paris" is today the property of the group Parfums Berdoues.
