Victor Albéric DUYVER (Belgian, Tielt 1859-1939 Namur)
Victor Albéric DUYVER was a portrait painter, he also had various paintings of religious subjects. In 1878, he worked in Lehmann's studio at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. He traveled to the Maghreb, the East and Egypt. In 1886, he lived in Lille. Member of the Salon of French Artists, in 1894 he received an honorary award. In 1911, he settled in Namur. He exhibited in Paris, Rome, Namur, Ghent, Charleroi.
