Swiss painter, born in 1777 in Zug, Switzerland. In they year 1804 he married Maria Jos. 'Emerentia' Ant. Xav. Cresc. Menteler. He died at the age of 56 in 1833. He painted a total of more than 800 portraits. Museum of Zug conserves some of his works.
