Sorelle Del Mare ("Sisters of the Sea") it was Italian fashion label, that was established in Viareggio, Italy, a coastal city in Tuscany known for its historic fashion and beach culture. It was part of the prestigious circle of Italian houses that helped shift the center of high fashion from Paris to Italy. The brand was most active and internationally recognized during the 1960s and 1970s, its designs were featured in international fashion shoots and media in March 1968, showcasing avant-garde pieces like silver knit "Charleston" dresses. The brand operated out of a historic building on the Viareggio waterfront, which served as its primary store and headquarters, today, the original "Sorelle Del Mare" building in Viareggio has been repurposed into a modern fashion and design store called Càos.
