Trussardi (Italian, founded in 1911)

Trussardi is an Italian luxury fashion brand that began in 1911 as an artisan glove workshop in Bergamo, founded by Dante TRUSSARDI. The company expanded in 1970s under Dante's grandson, Nicola TRUSSARDI, who took it over and transformed into a fashion house, expanding the product line to include bags, scarves, and other accessories. In 1976 the brand opened its first flagship store in Milan, establishing a physical presence for its international clientele. In 1980s Trussardi held public fashion shows, making its events more inclusive and pushing the boundaries of what was considered a luxury experience. In 1996 Nicola TRUSSARDI completed the restoration of the historic Marino alla Scala building in Milan, which now houses a Trussardi boutique and showroom. In 2024 Trussardi became part of the Miroglio Group. Today, it remains a luxury lifestyle brand, known for its blend of craftsmanship and contemporary design.
