Marzi is Italian hat brand, that was founded in Florence by Spartero BARGIONI, who was a member of BARGIONI family, pioneer in production of Florentine straw hats. The heart of this business was located in the family estate Campi Bisenzio, Tuscany. From the beginning of the 20th century, the refinement of these hats Conquer Europe, seducing the young English women from the "Grand Tour" and defining a timeless style.
In the 1920s, Spartero BARGIONI brought Florentine artisanal expertise to Paris, absorbing the innovative spirit of the fashion capital. Upon his return, in 1926 he founded his own company.
