Kertag is a Breton artisan company specializing in the manufacture of Celtic-inspired horseshoe nails jewelry. Its business began in 1973 and is still active today. Kertag is the name chosen by this Breton company, among other reasons for its Breton sound. Although it is not a Breton word, it is of Kyrgyz origin (a Turkic people living in Kyrgyzstan), where it refers to the last species of wild horse on the planet, also known as the Przewalski horse.
