House of Francesco Smalto it is one of the most recognized French men's tailoring fashion houses. Francesco SMALTO founded his own fashion house in Paris in February 1962 with the goal: "to dress men and help them relentlessly to forge their own style". He was a true architect of the masculine silhouette, revolutionized Parisian elegance with his boldness and creativity. At only 13 years old, Francesco SMALTO joined a cutting school in his native Calabria, then went to the United States to perfect his cutting technique at Harris in New York, President Kennedy's tailor. In 2012 the House of Smalto was awarded the label "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" by the French Ministry of Economy for the excellence of its tailoring know-how.
