Dover Publications is an American publishing house founded in 1941 by Hayward CIRKER and his wife, Blanche. It mainly publishes reissues, that is to say books that the original publishers no longer publish and which are sometimes in the public domain. Most of these books are of historical interest or rare, and therefore expensive in their first editions.
