Eugène PAZ (French, Bordeaux 1835 - 1901 Paris)

Moïse PAZ, known as Eugène PAZ, born May 2, 1835 in Bordeaux and died January 25, 1901 in Paris, was a French journalist, teacher at the Condorcet high school and at the Auteuil normal school and first founding president of the Union gymnastics societies in France, editor-in-chief of several journals such as "Paris-Théâtre", "Moniteur de gymnastique scolaire, hygiénique et médicale", "La Revue des sports". He also contributed regularly to the "Petit journal", the "Journal de Paris", the "National" and the "Soleil".
