Hélène MAJERA (French, born 2nd half 20th century)

Hélène MAJERA is a contemporary female visual artist living and working in Paris France. Internationally recognized graphic designer and illustrator, a field where her work has won numerous distinctions: Grand Prize for French Posters 1984, Honorary Prize for Japan' Railways Posters in 1983, Grand Prize for Posters in 1978 for Art Director club of Tokyo, French Poster Grand Prix 1977. She abandoned the advertising image in 1987 to devote herself to painting. Created fashion illustrations of Christian Dior's archived collections.
