C&A (Dutch, founded 1841)

C & A is a Dutch retail clothing stores founded in 1841 in the Netherlands by brothers Clemens and August BRENNINKMEIJER. They used their initials to create the company's name. The brand spread its presence in Germany and Great Britain during the end of the 19th century and early 20th century. C&A opened other stores in several countries at the end of the 20th century and during the 2000's era. It's also the owner of several brands, such as Angelo Litrico, Avanti, Canda, Clockhouse, Here+There, Palomino, Rodeo, Westbury, Yessica, Yessica Pure and Your Sixth Sense.
