G. J. & F, formerly house of Gingembre et Fils with the trademark "G. F.", was a manufacturer of hooks and eyelets since the 1820's in Paris. In 1828 the "G. F" trademark was registered. It was located in 70, rue Bondy then in 3 cité Riverain and 74 rue de Bondy, with headquarters located in 48 rue Alexandre Dumas. In 1877 the brand "G. J" became "G. J. & F", then in 1883 the name "Gigembre et Fils" became "La Société des agrafes françaises".
