Fred R. CONRAD is an American photographer. He started his career freelancing in New York after graduating from the University of Michigan, shot for Sygma, Time Magazine, Newsweek, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone and Ms. Magazine. The New York Times was one of his clients as well, and he joined the staff there in 1977. He worked there until December 2014.
