Véronique de Paris (French, 1932 - 1948)
Veronique de Paris was a French fashion house, founded in Paris in 1932 at 3 rue Volney by Raoul PIRONON, Maurice FAUCON, Armand DUVAL, who became the manager. The head office moved later to 227 rue de Saint-Denis, and from 1939 to 12 rue de la Paix. The boutique was specialized in women's clothes, such as dresses, coats, furs, and underwear, and accessories, such as hats, and sportswear. The fashion brand was very popular in the 1930s, and proposed haute couture inspired clothes for affordable price.
Opened shops in other French cities: Nantes, Nancy, Metz, Toulon, Bordeaux, Avignon, Alger, Lille, Strasbourg, Rouen, Trouville, etc.
In 1948, she appears at rue Berthelot.
