Les éditions Bell (French, 1st half 20th century)

Les éditions Bell (The Bell Editions) edited several publications in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s on fashion trends accompanied by inset boards enhanced with gouache. Among the magazines published by Bell, we find the following titles: Les créations parisiennes, Inspirations d'avant saison, Croquis Elégants, Costumes de bal, Signes. During the war, 2 magazines (Créations Parisiennes and Chapeaux Elegants) merged as a result of the paper restrictions in force. The editor albums were entirely reserved for Haute Couture and Haute Mode in Paris.
