Solnce Rossii (Russian, 1910 - 1916)
Solnce Rossii [Солнце России; Sun of Russia] was an illustrated weekly Russian magazine published in St. Petersburg in 1910 - 1916 by A. KOGAN (1878 - 1949). The magazine was printed at a high technical level, using the brand new rotary machines from abroad. It was famous for his colored illustrated covers and photographs. Much attention was paid to Russian artistic life. There were special issues, for example, for the 20th anniversary of Fedor SHALYAPIN's opera career (1913), in memory of Anton CHEKHOV (1914) etc.
