Tridtsat dney (Russian, 1925 - 1941)
Tridtsat dney [Тридцать дней; Thirty days]. A Soviet monthly art, literary, social and popular science illustrated magazine issued in Moscow, USSR from 1925 to 1941.
The periodical published important Soviet and foreign authors : Vladimir MAYAKOVSKY, Boris PASTERNAK, Mikhail ZOSHCHENKO, Andrey PLATONOV, Ylia ERENBURG, Guillaume APOLLINAIRE, Henri BARBUSSE, Paul VALERY, John PRIESTLEY, Romain ROLLAND, André MALRAUX, Ernest HEMINGWAY and many others. Among the magazine's illustrators were the artists Nikolay RADLOV, Alexander RODCHENKO and the cartoonist group KUKRYNIKSY. The iconic Soviet novels "Twelve Chairs" (1928) and "The Golden Calf" (1931) by ILF and PETROV were first published in Thirty days.
