Ogoniok [Огонёк; Small Fire, Spark] is one of the oldest and the most popular weekly illustrated Russian magazines. The periodical was issued from 1899 till December 2020 when the printed version was suspended due to financial problems. The colour magazine was famous in Russia for the good literary language of its publications, rich illustrative materials, color reproductions of paintings and its literature supplement.
