L'Art et les Artistes (French, 1905 - 1939)

L'Art et les Artistes [Art and Artistes], a monthly French art magazine that existed from 1905 to 1939. Its founder and scientific editor was Armand DAYOT (1851-1934), a French art critic and historian. Each issue was made in a high-quality printing technique of rotogravure and includes 48 black and white glossy pages, with one or two four-color images. The usual motif on the cover is a winged victory engraved by a Swiss artist and illustrator Pierre-Eugène VIBERT.
