Alexandre de Paris (French, Saint-Tropez 1922 – 2008 Montfort-l'Amaury)

Alexandre de Paris, born Louis Alexandre Albert RAIMON on September 6, 1922 in Saint-Tropez and died January 3, 2008 in Montfort-l'Amaury, is a famous master French hairdresser. He was, and will stay forever, "the hairdresser of the queens". It was thanks to him that the Parisian Haute Couture gave the barber profession credibility, finally accepting the presence of Alexandre and his teams to enter the cabins of models during the fashion shows and to make the hairstyles, approved in advance, by the greatest couturiers. During his presidency, he raised the prestige of the I.C.D. - Internationale Coiffure Dames. The greatest directors of Hollywood, Rome, Paris or London and Berlin also used him to style the international stars. Care and hygiene products as well as many accessories and hairdressing tools still bear its brand, world-renowned.
