Mansfield clothes (British, London 1960s-1990s)
British outerwear brand Mansfield, was founded and owned by Frank RUSSEL (1915-2008) whose nickname in the trade was 'king of coats'. The brand had such name because it was his sister's married name.
The label went on to sell in department stores such as Harrods, House of Fraser, Selfridges and Liberty as well as overseas. In the 1980s regularly graced the backs of the likes of Princess Diana and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
