Amir Husnulovitch VALIAKHMETOV was a russian painter, born in Kazan in 1927. In 1953 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I., Surikov, where he later taught. He studied under G. Ryazhsky, V. Tsyplakov, K. Maksimov. Since 1957 he has participated in exhibitions. He visited France twice, in 1990 and 1993 by the invitation of Mr XAVIER, art dealer, and his wife Magali. VALIAKHMETOV's works are in museums and art galleries in Kazan, Kalinin, Chita, Grozny, as well as in the Russian Museum and also in ten state galleries. Akim VALIAKHMETOV died in 2014
