Vera Feodorovna SPITCHAKOFF-NOWICKA (Russian, 1909 – 1988) was a daughter of a well known Russian ichthyologist Feodor Spitchakoff, who emigrated after the October Revolution to Poland, where Vera was studying art in Krakow. After WW2 she moved to Vienna and then to Caracas, Venezuela.
