Louise GERMAIN, born Louise RICHIER in Gap, France on the 22nd of April,1874 and died in Aix-en-Provence, 13 October 1939. She was a painter working in watercolour and oil paint. She was a student of BOUGUEREAU et FERRIER. She met Walter BILDECOMBE in 1894, wildlife painter, that influenced her work. She later worked alongside Paul CEZANNE and Joseph RAVASOU. GERMAIN's work often features floral still lives and outdoor scenes of nature and French buildings.
